From a Fitzroy studio to your salvage crew
We build Iron Wild Protocol out of a converted warehouse on Little Bourke Street. It began as a tabletop auction prototype and grew into one of Australia's most-downloaded independent strategy titles.

The first gavel drops
Two designers prototype a bidding-driven survival loop over eight weeks in Fitzroy. The auction mechanic sticks — everything else is rebuilt around it.

Closed beta on Android
3,200 testers stress-test the live bidding servers. Real-time barter and the reputation ledger are added after community feedback.

Global launch
Iron Wild Protocol releases free-to-play on the Play Store, reaching 100k installs across Australia, the UK and Canada in its first quarter.

The Ashfall Season
A live seasonal auction economy launches with weekly consignments, guild vaults, and cross-crew raids for up to eight players.

Before you enlist
Iron Wild Protocol runs on Android 9.0 and above with at least 3 GB of RAM. The install is roughly 1.8 GB, and we support both phones and tablets with adaptive layouts. Live auctions need a stable connection, though the campaign can be played offline.
The full campaign and every live auction are free forever. Paid editions only add cosmetics, extra vault storage and seasonal content — nothing that gives a bidding or combat advantage. We design the auction economy so patience beats a wallet.
After each raid, salvage is consigned to a timed auction where up to eight nearby players bid in real time. Winning bids are settled instantly against your salvage balance, and outbid players get their reserve refunded. Auctions run on Australian and European servers to keep latency low.
Yes. You can form a crew of up to four for co-op raids and join a larger guild of up to fifty for shared vaults and consignment bonuses. Cross-crew raids in the Ashfall season pit eight players against a contested map.
